The Honest Limits of This Research

These are lab and cell culture studies, specifically about aflatoxin metabolism, not human clinical trials, and not evidence that any supplement removes mold toxins already in your body or treats symptoms attributed to mold exposure. It's a narrow, specific, genuinely interesting research finding about one compound's interaction with one toxin's metabolic pathway, not a detox claim, and it shouldn't be read as one.

What Actually Matters More for Real Exposure

For the well-established risk, aflatoxin in food, proper storage of grains and nuts and buying from reputable sources matters far more than any supplement. For building-related mold, addressing the moisture source directly is the established remedy, per the EPA's own guidance.
